I came to AI from business operations, not the other way around. I’m based in Melbourne and work with businesses across Australia.
For more than ten years I’ve worked inside business operations: payroll, HR and the systems behind them, along with data analysis, system implementations, process improvement and, more and more, automation and AI. What I enjoy most is getting inside how a business actually works, understanding where people are losing time, where things get stuck, and where better systems could make work simpler.
That’s where I learned the difference between a demo that impresses and a system people actually use every day. Messy processes, manual workarounds, systems that only half fit, and teams that are understandably wary of the next new tool. None of that shows up in a sales demo, and all of it decides whether something works.
That experience is what led me to Twinklework.
I believe every business has opportunities to work smarter. Sometimes the answer is AI. Sometimes it’s automation. Sometimes it’s simply connecting the systems and processes that already exist. The goal isn’t to add more technology. It’s to build the right technology into the way the business already works.
That might mean implementing AI into everyday work, automating repetitive workflows, building specialised AI agents, connecting business systems, building dashboards that show what is happening, or helping teams understand where AI fits and how to adopt it with confidence.
What excites me most is working closely with businesses to uncover those opportunities and turn them into something practical. Less manual work. Fewer things falling through the cracks. Better use of people’s time.
AI is changing what businesses can do, and we’re still at the beginning. I started Twinklework to help businesses navigate that change, build the right systems around it, and turn what’s now possible into the way they work every day.
